Quick Flavorful Chicken

This is a very simple dish yet flavorful one! It can be prepared when you are rushing!.
It takes about 20-30 minutes.

Chicken legs- 6-7
oil- 1/4 cup
onions- 1 big sliced
garlic crushed- 3 cloves
bay leaves-2
cinnamon-1 stick
whole pepper- 1tsp
green chillies-2 slit
water- 2cups
chicken stock cubes-2
salt- to taste
maida-6 tsp (keep half for dusting)
oregano - 1tsp(or use mint leaves)
lemon juice- 4 tsp
METHOD:
Heat oil in a pan for frying.Dust chicken in maida and keep aside.
Fry till lightly brown and set aside.
Heat  oil in a kadai.(use oil from the above pan), add onions and garlic,fry till lightly brown.
Add bay leaves, cinnamon, pepper,green chilies,water, stock cubes and salt.
Now add chicken.Let it boil well.
Cover and cook on medium heat for 30 minutes or until chicken is done.Put the stove off.
Remove the chicken pieces and set aside.Keep the liquid in kadai.
In a small bowl mix 2 tsp maida with little water to make a paste.
Now heat the same kadai with the liquid, bring it to boil.
Add maida paste, mint leaves.stir until it thickens.Put the stove off.
Add chicken and coat it in the paste on the kadai.Leave the chicken in the kadai.
Before serving , reheat the kadai, sprinkle lemon juice . Serve hot with plain rice.
